- Laura Di Francesco
- STOCKHOLM/ROME, Sweden
- Laura is a talented young artist born in Rome. Today she is a freelancing illustrator situated in Stockholm, Sweden. Laura is a member of the Illustratörcentrum and Svenska Tecknare ( Association of Swedish Illustrators and Graphic Designers), an organization which comprises some 1300 professional artists. She has illustrated and published many books, cooperated with several designers and planned differents exhibitions in Italy, Sweden, Ukrain. On her way she has also been living a year in Japan, something seen in her styliz use of form and composition. Laura sees the beauty in life and through her pieces of arts she opens Your eyes for life's innocence and sensitivity. She is an expert in catching animals and sweet earth spirits on the move, mixing naive pictures with clear reality. Her sense of colour and shape is vivid and full of life passion. Her text and illustrations are full of everyday humor and creativity Laura sees lifes magic and gives us new tools to do the same.

Aww! I love idea of a raindrop with a little face sliding down my umbrella... especially as it rains outside my window right now. I love your illustrations and the sweet detail you put into your work.
